COORDINATION/ARC FLASH STUDIES
The Arc Flash / Coordination Study is designed using a methodical process and depends not only on manufacturer data, but also on precise data obtained from field inspection or accurate drawing take-off.
We prepare SKM computer models based on brands and specifications of equipment. We then introduce data gathered in the field or derived from site drawings. Aside from the obvious, i.e. manufacturer information about protective devices, details such as feeder composition, lengths, and number of bends, and the degree of those bends. This information is Imported directly into the software.
From the Study we can call attention to for example, a setting called for that is not available on a given piece of equipment. In such cases we work directly with the design engineers to decide on settings that are alternate, yet still appropriate for the circumstance.
Our Arc Flash Studies include all Arc Flash Warning labels, applied appropriately by field commissioning agents.
